We had 3 hours to film a tense conversation between Robert and Calum, played respectively by Hugh Burgess and Colin Cunninghame. (Mark Drummond Johnson is working the clapper board, the rest of us are behind the camera). We lined up the shots list and blasted through each one. The actors and crew were fantastic, and we finished with enough time to even get extra pick-up shots! Check out the gorgeous colors of the location. For an independent, low-budget film, building sets to look really nice is sometimes challenging. But, thanks to a few good words and friends, we were able to obtain this visually luxurious location for an epic scene!
We’re starting up ‘The Dying Eye’ blog again! After a production hiatus from December 21 – March 19, we’re back online with a plenty of film footage and lots of fun stuff coming up!
